Ecuador obtuvo ingresos de USD 8.183’329.597,90 por la exportación de hidrocarburos en 2024

EP Petroecuador exportó en 2024, un total de 120’052.357,43 barriles de hidrocarburos, de los cuales 67’253.025,50 barriles corresponden a crudo Oriente, 46’205.910,55 barriles a crudo Napo, 6’253.272,71 barriles a Fuel Oil No.6 y 340.148,67 barriles a Vacuum Gas Oil. Estas ventas generaron ingresos para el país por USD 8.183’329.597,90.
En este mismo periodo, la empresa realizó un total de 34 exportaciones de hidrocarburos a través del mercado spot: 17 para crudo Napo, 13 para crudo Oriente, tres para Fuel Oil No.6 y una para Vacuum Gas Oil. Es importante señalar que actualmente EP Petroecuador coloca el 78% del saldo exportable del crudo ecuatoriano (Oriente y Napo) en ventas spot y el restante 22% lo destina para cumplir con los compromisos que aún mantiene a largo plazo.
Adicionalmente para este 2025, Ecuador tendrá disponible un volumen adicional de 3’240.000 barriles de crudo Napo, que representan nueve cargamentos de 360.000 barriles cada uno, para ser comercializados en el mercado spot. Esta liberación de crudo es parte de la culminación, en diciembre de 2024, del contrato a largo plazo que mantenía EP Petroecuador con la empresa estatal china Unipec, el cual fue suscrito el 15 de mayo de 2014 y que implicó la entrega de un total de 137’133.044,29 barriles. De acuerdo con los estimados hidrocarburíferos, está previsto que para este año se cuente con 153 cargamentos de crudo Oriente (de 360.000 barriles cada uno) y 74 de crudo Napo (360.000 barriles cada uno) para ser exportados a través de este mercado.
